We believe that babysitting shouldn't be a guessing game. Parents deserve more than a name and a phone number. They deserve verified credentials, honest reviews, and recommendations from people they actually know.
And sitters deserve more than $5/hour in cash and a pat on the back. They deserve fair pay, professional respect, and a platform that helps them build a real reputation over time.

Our story
SitYeah started in 2024 when our founders — a group of parents in Austin, TX — realized they were all solving the same problem independently: texting around, asking friends, and hoping for the best when it came to finding babysitters.
The existing options felt outdated. Babysitting platforms were either glorified job boards with no trust signals, or expensive agencies with limited availability. There was nothing in between.
So we built SitYeah: a modern marketplace where trust is earned progressively through verification badges, where parents recommend sitters to each other, and where booking is as simple as sending a text.
