Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SitYeah platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SitYeah is a marketplace platform that connects parents/guardians with babysitters. We facilitate the discovery, booking, and payment process. SitYeah does not employ sitters and is not a childcare provider.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. Sitter accounts may be created by individuals aged 13 and older, with parental consent required for those under 18.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

5. Trust & Verification

SitYeah offers progressive verification badges (ID verification, CPR/First Aid, background checks, MinistrySafe certification). These badges indicate that a sitter has completed specific verification steps. They do not constitute a guarantee of safety or suitability. Parents are responsible for their own due diligence.

6. Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. Parents are charged after job completion. SitYeah charges a 10% platform fee on each completed booking. Sitters receive their full hourly rate plus 100% of any tips.

7. Cancellations

Either party may cancel a booking. Late cancellations (within 2 hours of the scheduled start time) may affect a user's reliability score. Repeated late cancellations may result in account restrictions.

8. Content & Reviews

Users may submit reviews, ratings, and profile content. You retain ownership of your content but grant SitYeah a license to display it on the platform. Reviews must be honest and not defamatory.

9. Limitation of Liability

SitYeah is a marketplace platform. We do not employ sitters, and we are not liable for the actions, omissions, or conduct of any user. Users interact at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SitYeah's liability is limited to the fees paid to the platform.

10. Termination

SitYeah reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, receive repeated safety reports, or engage in fraudulent activity.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
